Sometimes a family member or elderly person may require personal assistance but are embarrassed to permit family members to assist. We can help by arranging a personal caregiver (Certified Nursing Assistant or Personal Care Aide) who can provide your loved one improved health and hygiene without sacrificing their dignity or privacy.
Personal care includes assisting with "hands on" care including bathing and dressing. Our personal care services give family members the opportunity to take time out of care giving responsibilities knowing their loved ones are being cared for by a trusted caregiver. Research confirms that clients have reduced recovery time, better outcomes, and are more at ease and secure, when healing takes place in the client’s own home.
How do I Qualify? If you or a loved one needs assistance with: bathing, grooming, dressing toileting, hygiene, mobility or eating, they may qualify for personal care service. Your primary care physician will need to make a referral for services. With your permission, a State Registered Nurse will come out to see you and complete an assessment. If you meet state requirements you will be able to receive personal care services. If you receive Medicaid, Medicaid may pay for up to 80 hours per month for an in-home caregiver to provide personal care services.
